SCHEDULING AIDS
The round-robin schedules provided here will accommodate leagues of from 4 to 10 teams. If a league has an odd number of teams, then a different team each week will receive a bye. For example, a 9-team league would use the 10-team schedule, and whichever team was supposed to play team 10 on a particular week would have a bye.
It is also possible to play the same schedule twice around, reversing the home and away designation the second time. Or, for example, an 8-team league could play a 10-week schedule, with the first three (3) weeks being exhibition games, and the last seven (7) counting for standing. That is, the first three (3) weeks of play would use games 5, 6, and 7 of the schedule with home and away reversed. Then the remaining seven (7) weeks of the season would use the schedule as printed here. Additional Information about Scheduling Tournaments, Round Robin teams up to 20
